A few years ago, I got a bug to start replacing the big box, gibberish Swedish-named, medium-quality furniture we have in our house with self-built furniture. Whether it was a coffee table, bedframe, or keyboard stand, it was so nice to design something that was custom, fit the space, and would probably last a lot longer than Ektorp or Äpplarö. Please don't sue me IKEA.
